Release of Autres Records “Solos at Vigeland”

This is a recording of a live performance, given during the fifth edition of our festival in Oslo.

It took place in one of the most mesmerizing setting in Oslo : the Emanuel Vigeland Museum.

The music improvised by the four musicians was shaped by the acoustic of the Mausolée, and its unique atmosphere, dark yet strangely glowing, with the paintings and scultpures surrounding the sounds and resonnances.

In between the four solos are interludes composed by Sol Léna–Schroll

released January 24, 2025

Sigrid Aftret – tenor saxophone & flute
Sol Léna–schroll – alto saxophone
Hector Léna–Schroll – trumpet
Clément Merienne – keybord & electronic (live sampling)
