Biome is intended as a reflection of a musical idea and concern that has been mine for several years now: to bring works closer together, to give them a shared strength, to create a unified listening atmosphere through sound, playing, letting go, and to highlight the intrinsic connections between the pieces. Because that is what truly interests me: creating real or imagined associations between the works in order to bring them together. Through these connections, each piece takes on meaning as part of an equation and gains new depth. The three aesthetics present on this album, which might initially seem separate, are in fact parts of the same idea, the same sphere—in a word: a biome
